Jon Mitovich joined Roman Fountains in 1977. First as Vice President and General Manager, then as owner and President. Jon is well versed in all phases of commercial fountain application, from design and fabrication to project development, contract management and corporate administration. Jon, a Cox Business School graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, has completed seminars in fountain design at UCLA and the Harvard Graduate School of Design and is also a regular contributor of articles and essays on fountains for the major trade publications.

Karla McAnally-Mitovich joined Roman Fountains as Administrative Coordinator in 1994 when the company was acquired by its present ownership. Karla has primary responsibility for all administrative office operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, traffic coordination and transportation logistics, and customer service issues.

Steve Shadle joined Roman Fountains in 1993 as Sr. Design Technician, specializing in fountain mechanical system design and new product development. Prior to joining Roman Fountains, Steve worked for 11 years with Kim Fountains and Lighting as project designer. In 2001 Steve took a leave of absence to work for the distinguished landscape architecture and planning firm of EDAW, Inc. in Fort Collins Colorado where he developed and commissioned numerous fountain projects. He rejoined our team in early 2004 bringing to bear his extensive working knowledge of the landscape architectural profession.

Tom Hanson joined Roman Fountains in May 2004 as Vice President, Sales & Marketing of our Atlanta office. Tom is a veteran of the fountain industry since 1984 and has extensive experience in all aspects and phases of fountain sales, design and development, system engineering, project specification, project estimating, and project management. Tom graduated from Bowling Green State University, Ohio with a Mechanical Engineering degree.

Carlos Bascas joined Roman Fountains in June 2004 as Director of Engineering for Atlanta operations. Carlos is a seasoned fountain design engineer with more than 20,000 hours of computer design experience. He is also responsible for training more than 30 engineers and sales personnel in the field of fountain mechanical and electrical systems application and design over the past 18 years. Carlos holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Southern Technical Institute, Marietta, Georgia.

Bryan Had joined our Atlanta team in July 2004 as Systems Sales Engineer. Bryan is responsible for fountain system design, specification, estimating, quotations and sales. A graduate of the Ohio University Russ College of Engineering & Technology, Bryan holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Steve Bearden, ASLA worked as a registered landscape architect before specializing in his real passion for water features. Steven has been designing fountains since 1988. After leaving the landscape architectural firm EDAW, Inc. Steven spent six years with the water feature design build firm Greenscape Pump Services before joining Roman Fountains in 2006 as Western Region Sales Manager in our Los Angeles office. Steven graduated from the School of Architecture at the University of Texas at Arlington.

Patti Bearden joined Roman Fountains as Western Region Sales Coordinator at the same time Steven joined. In addition to assisting Steven with initial contacts in the Western Region, Patti is responsible for general office administration and sales literature along with various customer service inquires.
