The RAVS-1600 16″ sq. Anti-Vortex Plate and Sump Assembly is designed for use in fountains and reflecting pools using remote pumping systems.  They provide a pre-fabricated mechanism for returning water from pool to pump, eliminating vortexing (drawing air into the pump) and promoting efficient circulation.   The RAVS-1600 is constructed of a heavy duty FRP sump with integral waterstop flange, a  4″  side, and 3″ bottom connections.  The 3″ internal connection shall be provided with a 2″ threaded male plug. The unit features a 3/16″ thick brass anti-vortex plate with brass spacers and TORX type stainless steel vandal resistant safety fasteners.  Recommended maximum flow rate is 200 GPM at a 16″ water depth. Please refer to the cut sheet for additional data and safety notice.

Note:  If this is the primary suction force for the recirculation system, use two (2) units minimum, to lessen risk of suction entrapment.
